Snippets

Some snippets of life around here:

- Patrick got over his illnesses! Yay! He had bronchiolitis (not bronchitis, but not sure the difference), hence the breathing treatments, and bacterial pneumonia, hence the antibiotics.

-Patrick was up 4 times last night between 1 and 2 a.m. wanting milk, company, dinosaurs, etc, while Eli slept throught the night. Figures.

-Now that we set up the crib in anticipation of Eli moving into Patrick's room someday (when Patrick sleeps through the night), Patrick wants to sleep in it instead of his big-boy bed. Also, figures :)

-It's snowing its brains out over here, and it blew in suddenly, so Joe apparantly didn't get off work in time. He left at 5:30 and has gotten approximately 3 miles in those 3 1/2 hours. 17 more miles to go, he should get here tomorrow evening.

-Thanks to Joe working early, then me working late, then Joe working early and getting stuck in a blizzard, I haven't seen my husband for two days straight! The most we've talked face-to-face was this morning, at 1:30, when Joe groggily asked "what does he want?" as Patrick was up the third time. That is pretty ridiculous considering neither of us are even out of town!

-My guys, when I get to see them, are still the best. On Sunday we dyed Easter eggs (a practice run) and had a little hunt in our living room. Here, for your viewing pleasure, are the results. I split it up so you don't feel obligated to watch the whole long hunt but would feel bad closing the video before it's through :)

The bronchi break into smaller tubes called bronchioles , therefore Patrick got an infection in the really small passage ways( and the larger ones as well)! Does that make sense?
i am glad that he feels better!

sounds like Max - waking up to go downstairs to watch hockey or drink water etc....although Audrey doesn't sleep through the night - I have no expectations as to when that will be though. glad patrick is better. we learned the difference between those in nursing school - I've forgotten! being sick is NO fun!
