I hope they call me on a mission when I have grown a foot or two. I hope by then I will be ready to teach and preach and work as missionaries do. I hope that I can share the gospel with those who want to know the truth. I want to be a missionary and serve and help the Lord while I am in my youth.

Missionaries have played a huge part in our lives, from my own brother serving while I was still young, to missionaries teaching my two brother-in-laws, to elders in Fort Collins teaching my own husband and attending our sealing in the Denver temple a year later. Missionaries are synonimous with Mormons - one of the things we're known for! Young guys in white shirts and ties on bikes, knocking on your door. What seems so simple and universal is a huge test of faith for those young men and their families, not to mention a huge struggle to get there! I shudder to think about all the obstacles that await our kids... but I know it's not impossible. I know it's a wonderful goal to work toward. I know I would be out-of-this-WORLD proud to send my sons (and daughter) on missions some day. Too bad they'll miss each other for 4 years if they go at the right time! So we'll enjoy them being missionaries together, today, while we can.

That is TOO cute!! You should dress them as missionaries for Halloween and take them trick-or-treating! You never know, might get someone interested in the church. :)
Cuties!
